Goldhorn presents the first DSP amplifier specifically for electric vehicles - NEV (NEW ENERGY VEHICLE), with integrated A²B digital signal decoder.
The GOLDHORN AB 218 is a 20-channel class D amplifier (16 x 50/80 W + 4 x 100/150 RMS/max.) with an integrated 28-channel "dual-core" DSP processor and integrated A²B digital bus decoder.

The Goldhorn AB218 was specially developed to be installed in electric cars that use A²B digital signal. This allows for seamless integration without voiding the manufacturer's warranty - additional specific wiring is not included.
Thanks to the integrated A²B interface, it is possible to bypass the original amplifier and receive the original audio signal directly from the source. This feature will ensure the highest sound quality, without compressions or signal conversions.
Moreover, the GoldHorn AB218 is compatible with the active noise cancellation system - ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) and does not require the removal of microphones. Installation is simple and does not require wiring modifications, meaning the car manufacturer's warranty is preserved.

Smart design
On the front panel, there are 16 RCA outputs to connect external amplifiers.
On the left panel, there are amplified outputs to connect speakers and Rem Out signals to connect external devices, a USB-B connector to connect to a PC, and a connector for remote control.
On the right panel, there is a power terminal, performance indicators, 2 RCA AUX inputs, TosLink optical input, coaxial digital input, USB-DAC Type A connector, A²B digital signal connector, and A²B selection switch.

- Dynamic Loudness Control (DLC): Using the dynamic volume control function, you can compensate for the original radio volume or create your own profile.
OEM radio units automatically increase high and low frequency levels at low volumes and reduce them at high volumes. Using the DLC function, it is possible to compensate for these changes that the original car radio makes to achieve a more linear sound (in terms of bass and treble) regardless of the volume.
